I bought this great piece at auction for my new house at the beach, but I haven't found quite the right spot.
The candlestick is 15” high and has a wonderful base that I believe is bronze.
The center column is black stone....marble, I think.
The leaves are a bronze color; it is not magnetic, so it is either bronze or brass, I think.
The base is 4.75” x 4.75”.
Weighs 4 pounds, 6 ounces.
Condition
:
The brass has not been polished and seems to have a protective coating. There is one small dot that I have not tried to remove chemically. (see close-up photo).
The marble has a few tiny areas of white that seem to be in the marble.
There is one chip on the bottom where it was perhaps put in too firmly into the base (please see close-up photo).
Older felt on bottom, but clean.
