    VALLERYSTAHL WHITE MILK GLASS MINIATURE BASKET-MADE IN GERMANY
    A few years after Sowerby
    Pattened his Turquoise Glass Basket in England
    , Vallerystahl produced and sold their white milk glass basket in Germany.  Two the simple eye both baskets look a like.  But, there are two ways to tell the difference between the English - Sowerby
    Basket and the Germany - Vallerystahl Basket
    Please look at the picture of
    these two baskets.  Specifically check the one that both baskets are on their side with the bottoms visible.  The turquoise English Basket made by Sowerby has a smooth bottom service with a Peacock Mark.
    The Vallerystahl Basket has the same woven pattern that is found on Basket side.
    The second way of telling the baskets apart is that the White Milk Glass Vallerystahl has the word VALLERYSTAHL embossed on the inside bottom of the basket.  TheTurquoise English Basket has a diamond mark on the inside bottom that denotes the month, day, and year the Basket was produced.
    This White Milk Glass Vallerystahl Basket is in mint condition.  The weight is in 6 ozs. prepackaged.  The length is the basket is 4 1/2 inches and the height of the
    Basket 3 1/2 inches.
