    Description

    Pair of original polished aluminum candlesticks, a special limited edition from 1971, by Richard J. Lionetti Design for the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Fantastic Op Art design, both modular and geometric, sleek yet weighty - very much in the vein of design work by Gabriella Crespi. Each measures 4” high, 2 5/8” across. Very scarce. In excellent condition.
    It's staggering to me that nobody - no interior designer, especially - sees the brilliant design and value of these. If these were listed on 1stdibs, they'd be three times my price. Seriously - just staggering. Even at 10% off no one bit! But they'll spend 0 on a lame Versace pillow...
