numbered Hardy JLH 2/3/4 fly reel circa 1992 w/ spare spool

For your consideration is a gently used (just twice) serial numbered Hardy JLH 2/3/4 fly reel circa 1992 w/ spare spool. These reels were available for a short time as they were quite expensive (see the spare spool price of 5!) for their time. This is the smallest of the J.L.H. series, which came in both click & pawl and disc versions. This is the desirable click & pawl version in its original box, original paperwork, and unused Hardy Pokey bag. Both boxes show shelf wear and a small tear has been taped as has the labels on the spare spool as the glue gave out after nearly 30 years. I used a different reel case the two times that I used this reel. I sold off my Orvis Flea, which paired perfectly with this lightweight reel. The J.L.H. reel has a narrow spool for quick take up and a fabulous adjustable drag to protect the finest tippets while allowing easy adjustability for those times when the big one surprises you. Outside of slight wear to the foot from being on a rod, this reel is like new. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail fully insured. Ready to collect, fish, or both!
