Description
This item in my EBAY store is an EAPG VICTORIAN MILK GLASS MINIATURE LAMP with "BLUE FOR-GET-ME-NOT FLOWER'S" and an UMBRELLA MATCHING SHADE. This milk glass miniature lamp I have here is antique glass that has survived well over 100 years of survival and because of age has now become a beautiful family heirloom; I may add that this little VICTORIAN MILK GLASS MINIATURE LAMP with an UMBRELLA MATCHING SHADE with "BLUE FOR-GET-ME-NOT FLOWER'S" 9" HIGH is an early vintage antique glass lamp that has been used and displayed over many years and is still a very beautiful miniature lamp; This little victorian decorated milk glass miniature lamp is in excellent condition having NO chips, cracks, scratches, and no glass staining, again there is no pin head nicks or flakes at the top nor at the bottom rim of this shade, just excellent condition, this little lamp is just the way it left the glass company that produced this little guy I have here; The top umbrella shade color matches the bottom base color; The original paint on the umbrella shade is ever bit 98%, the painted flower's on the lamp bottom is ever bit 99%, but the little beading down the side on the base does show worn paint from use, over all paint condition is ever bit 95%, you can still see tell tale gold gilt stain on this lamp base; Offering this lamp just the way I bought this little guy; I do not buy these lamps without the matching shades ( I am just happy always to have a shade since all the value is in these shades);
I will add that this miniature lamp that I have here does have those Early American Pattern Glass characteristics of the glass that was produced at this time of the glass making era having your straw marks, stress marks, and air bubbles inside the glass, these characteristics are from the glass being produced and are not considered damage;
I will also add that the "nutmeg" burner and spider to hold the shade looks original to me, numerous photos show this burner, the little clear globe was with this lamp; Numerous (many) photos were taken with flash and outside in natural daylight in different backgrounds in numerous angles and positions to show pattern, condition & size hoping to answer any and all questions but if need be you can E-mail me or you can see me on my NEW web site at terrymackeyantiques.com.
