    Description

    The decoration by C.A. Lion Cachet, manufactured by Distel-Goedewagen, circa 1925. C.A. Lion Cachet worked as a freelancer for Distel between 1911 and 1923.
    Of baluster form with short cylindrical neck, this exquisite vase is hand painted in beautiful celadon green, accented with golden brown foliage & trim while around the body are four spectacular blue griffins! Printed marks Gouda Holland, painted Goedewaagen Distel and numbered 321/4. Measures 9” tall & 8” at its widest!
    Very good condition for age! Vase glaze very good (hard to take pictures without reflections) small hairline fracture inside top part with of vase (see pics) Overall a BEAUTIFUL Piece!!!!
