2 Vintage Italian Koi Carp Silver Plated Modello Depositato Letter/Mail Holders

Description

Offered for purchase are two vintage, mid century modern silver-plated carp letter (or napkin) holders made by Modello Depositato. Each fish is stamped by the Italian company on the inside of the fish (photo 11) - it's in an awkward position to photograph. These would make a wonderful decoration on a desk, or anywhere in the home.
Approx. Dimensions:  9” long x 3 3/4” high x 1 3/4” wide
Condition: Good. Both fish have considerable patina and wear consistent with age and use. One of the fish appears more gold than silver. As a rule, I never clean vintage metalware; I always leave the decision to the new owner. Please inspect all of the photos, they are part of the description.
